The mother to Adoreas Red D-litter is our foundation bitch Logrekroken’s Belle Kimba. She is the mother to Adoreas A and B litter, and she has proven to be an excellent brood bitch. She has many stunning offsprings and three of them holds a total of 5 champion titles.
Kimba is an active dog that loves to work. She is a charming bitch that knows what she want. She is confident and curious, and she loves to be in the center of attention. She has done very well in the showring. She has several BOB-placements and holds both the Norwegian and the Swedish champion title. She was the most winning Toller Bitch and totally second best Toller in Norway in 2007.
As the father of the litter, we have chosen the gorgeous Rhinferrys Namid Indian Dancer. He lives in Poland and is imported from the Netherlands. He is an active and very willing to work dog. Retrieving is the best he knows and he is very obedient. In addition to hunting, he is trained in tracking, obedience and agility. His many titles proves that he also do well in the showring.
Dancer has many exciting names in his pedigree, and I hope he can bring positive things to the Norwegian Toller breeding.
The puppies will be DNA A by parents.
Dancer did really live up to my expectations when I met him in August 2009 and now in January 2010. He is one of the most handsome Tollers I’ve seen, and he had a great temper in all situations we saw him in. I am very pleased with the choice of male for this litter and have great expectations for the puppies!Kimba was mated (AI) the 21th of January, so the pups will be born around the 25.th of March and are ready for new homes in the end of May.
The pups will preferably be sold to puppy buyers who want to work with their dog. That’s because we expect this puppies to be very active. Whether obedience, agility, tracking or hunting training. A Toller that uses both head and body is a happy Toller!
In August 2009 we drove all the way to Krakow to mate Dancer with Iola, Kimba’s daughter. Unfortunately Iola got a major uterine inflammation and she had to remove the uterus. So no Dancer puppies then. Pictures and text from the trip HERE! And pictures of Iola and Dancer together HERE!
So when we got the opportunity to mate Kimba with Dancer we are thrilled to see what comes out of this combination. It was not easy to arrange the mating. Since the weather this winter is pretty though I decided to travel by plane to get some fresh Dancer semen, and then inseminate Kimba at the vet school in Oslo. So after a lot of planning, searching on the internet and blood samples of Kimba I took the plane to Krakow, Polen late 20th of January. Many thanks to Dancer’s owners, Malgorzata and Michal, that made my stay so much easier and pleasent by driving me around and keeping me with company. And with lots of Toller talk! 🙂
Kimba was inseminated in the evening the 21th of January and as the day vent by I didn’t really believe that we should make it. Everything that could go wrong, almost vent wrong. So I’m extremely happy and satisfied that Kimba is now confirmed in whelp!!!! This was just ment to be!
The pups will be delivered with: NKK`s (Norwegian Kennel Club) buyers contract, pedigree, veterinary certification, vaccine, implanted ID tag as well as follow ups/contact with us as long as the dog lives.
The litter will grow up in the living room and that means a great deal of socializing. They will live together with the other dogs in the house, and meet all kind of people in all ages.
Every pup will get their own page here on Kennel Adorea, and you can follow their everyday life up to delivery in a puppy blog. I hope the buyers will send many pictures and information about their pups growing up.
The potential buyers that will work with their Toller will be preferred. The Toller is an active breed, so don’t get one just because it’s small and cuddly.
If you are interested in a pup from us, send us an e-mail where you tell all about yourself (all the family members), just why you want a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and what you want to do with your dog.
Kennel Adorea also want to keep a female puppy out on breeders terms. Contact us if you are interested!
